studio time!

I am spending most of my working hours this week in the studio - working on some deadlines and a new way of seeing things, creatively. So far, it's so interesting to see what comes out when I force myself to try new things. It's hard, but good to to push up against a creative edge and see what happens.

I'm the rare girl who works better, much better, in a tidy creative space. It gets super messy with each painting, but then I clean it all up before starting the next piece. I generally work on one piece at a time. I didn't used to do work that way, but now I want the immediate gratification of completion.

True loves coming into the studio and climbing, and exploring. That baby is on the move, big time. I look forward to the days when he can create alongside me, but for now I love his sweet little visits when I'm working.

See you guys on the flipside of all this creativity - might be a few days before I'm back!
